Terms

Maksa runs batch inference jobs you submit, before the deadline you choose, at the price quoted when you submit. You own your inputs, outputs and weights; we hold a licence to process them only to run your jobs.

Prices on this site are indicative until a job is accepted. A job's price is fixed at acceptance and printed on its receipt. If we deliver after the deadline, the job is free and we credit twice its cost.

Either side can end the agreement with 30 days' notice. Prepaid balances are returned within five business days of exit, less any jobs already run.

Privacy

This website sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and loads nothing from third parties. The two preferences in the footer (sky and motion) are kept in your own browser's local storage and never leave it.

The numbers on this site are a simulated feed generated in your browser; looking at them sends nothing to us. The only way information reaches us from this site is an email you choose to send.

For customers: prompts and completions are never written to logs. Operational logs (token counts, timings, placement) are kept for 13 months. The full schedule is in the docs under What we delete, and when.

Data processing addendum

Our DPA follows the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (module two, controller to processor) and the UK addendum. It lists every sub-processor by region, and the residency setting in your account limits which of them can touch your data.

Insurance

Maksa carries technology errors and omissions cover and cyber liability cover, each with a limit of $5,000,000 per claim. Certificates of insurance are available on request for customers and prospective customers under NDA.

Acceptable use

No workloads that break the law where they run or where you are, no attempts to extract other customers' data, and no use of weights you lack the rights to run. We can pause a job that violates this and will tell you why, in writing, within the hour.
